An outdoor playset is simply a structure built outdoors specifically for children to play on and around.  Wood, steel, and plastic are all common materials found in outdoor playsets. Other materials found in an outdoor playset are steel, canvas, aluminum, and rope.   Commercial outdoor playsets are usually constructed of a highly durable material such as steel.   Commercial playground outdoor playsets also soften have some variation of a play pit, or soft landing area.
