Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn’t your website show prices?

Many manufacturer’s internet policies will not permit us to list our best prices. Often times manufacturers will allow pricing to be posted online if the pricing follows their set internet MAP (minimum advertised price). This “MAP” pricing may not allow us to offer you our best prices. For this reason we feature the “Get A Quote Now” option. This will ensure that we are providing you with the absolute most competitive prices.

Why are your prices so much less than other companies?

As an authorized dealer, we buy direct from the factory and pass the value to you the customer. Our unique business model eliminates the overhead cost of a retail store, and in turn generates an extremely competitive price tag. We sell our products at the best possible prices, and will match or beat any price on a comparable playset.  We work hard to make sure you get the highest level of play value for your money.

What type of site preperation is needed before installation?

Choose a location with a 6′ perimeter around all sides of your playset. Site should be level although we will level your playset into your yard. Digging in your set level is included up to 6″ deep. Our sets have some adjustability for unlevel yards. If your play area is more than a gradual slope then contact us for a free yard evaluation.

Can I install the playset myself?

Yes, all of our sets are precut and predrilled. Easy to read instructions allow you to install most of our sets in 3 to 12 hours.

Can I add on to my playset later on?

That is what sets us apart from many other companies is our modular designs. You can start with a basic playset and add on as your children grow. Customize and create the ultimate outdoor playset.

How often do your wooden playsets have to be stained / sealed?

We highly recommend staining/sealing your playset every 2-3 years to protect it from outdoor elements. We also have a maintenance service where we inspect your playset, tighten all the bolts, powerwash and seal/stain your wooden playset, so you don’t have to.

What if I move?

Call us! We move residential playsets for our customers, or even buy them back.  Purchasing our equipment is a long term investment that can move with you. It can also be sold by you personally, and we can move it and install it for the new owners. Yes, we offer complete tear down and re install service or we can just dismantle the playset for the moving company and provide you with an assembly manual if you are moving out of state.

Do you provide installation services?

Absolutely. Our experienced installers have worked in the construction/carpentry industry for many years and are courteous professionals.  Our effective installation team is another reason Carolina Playsets stands out from other companies.
